Elgin Junior High team 7688A earns a trip to the Vex Robotics World Championship in Anaheim, California April 18th-20th by winning the Excellence Award at the RAMTEC Ohio Middle School Vex Sack Attack Robotics Middle School Qualifier at the Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion, Ohio on Wednesday the 20th of February. The award was based on their presentation, judges interview, robotic innovation and contest performance. Judges for the event were Ed Rollins of Georgia Pacific and Chad Schnitzler of Boy Scouts of America.

North Union Middle School teams 4810 B, D and A earn a trip to the Vex Robotics World Championship in Anaheim, California April 18th-20th by winning the RAMTEC Ohio Middle School Vex Sack Attack Robotics Middle School Qualifier at the Tri-Rivers Career Center in Marion, Ohio on Wednesday the 20th of February. Team 4810 A won the Design Award. North Union 4810 E won the Ohio State University Marion Engineering Judges Award and received $1,000 scholarships. Students use the Vex Robotics equipment in the Project Lead the Way Gateway to Technology program as well.
