First RAMTEC Ohio League is complete!!!The First RAMTEC Ohio Vex Robotics Sack Attack League has finished it's 24 qualifying matches. The winning team is Ridgedale High School's Vex Team 6302W with a record of 22-2 and 1043 skill points. Congratulation on making it through all 4 events and only losing two matches and earning the right to compete in the World Championships this April in sunny California. Second place was North Union 6008b at 16-2 with 788 SPs. These two teams are the only two teams with two loses. Ridgedale is the winner based off of a winning percentage .917 versus NUHS 6008B's .889 . Each team had to compete in a minimum of 18 matches to qualify. These two teams teamed up as an Alliance the tournament champions Saturday the 23rd in Tri-Rivers Career Center's Giaque Auditorium and will now advance to the Vex World Championship in Anaheim. Winning teams will represent our league at the World Championships in Anaheim April 18th. River Valley HS team 1181b and Tri-Rivers CC 433 have already qualified previously qualifier for Worlds. Middle school winners that will advance to Anaheim are North Union 4810 A,B and D, Ridgdale and Elgin JR High teams. 8 teams will represent the Central Ohio area. The best 440 teams out of 6500 worldwide are invited to the event in California.

Team 433 E wins in MichiganTeamates Bailey Kyte and Robby Ault
won the Vex Robotics Design Award at the Monroe County Community College AutoDesk Qualifier Saturday. The judges chose their design based on, "their robot's could score on the high goals the fastest and often and they had a great engineering notebook. They finshed 6th inthe qualifying rounds. Also on their team is Seaton Dyer. |
