We want to thank all the sponsors for supporting our first Vex Robotics League in Marion. AMTEC and SME EF sponsored us in the early Fall to get all the events off the ground. It is expensive each year to buy rinks, game pieces and to host events. Marion is blessed to have such great support. This year one of only 20 leagues in the world. We also hosted out first RAMTEC Ohio Middle School Qualifier that is one of five in the world. And March 1st we host our large 76 team SME EF Marion Qualifier. The Marion Community Foundation donated $3,000 to help get the middle school event off the ground. They paid for the $750 registration for 4 world qualifiers from Elgin, Ridgedale and North Union. The US Air Force, Depco LLC and DeVry are sponsoring registration for 4 teams to attend the Vex World Championship from our SME EF event. Ohio State Marion is sponsoring our food for the events and is awarded (6) $1,000 scholarships. Marion Technical College is also awarding scholarships. US Yachiyo has also donated money to our events. SolidWorks has donated 100 software CAD packages to our students as well. Stay tuned for even further good news about STEM robotics camps and professional development coming to a school, club or orgainzation near you. Please thank our sponsors for all they do for us.
